Garment-OS

Raw Material Management System

Track every roll, from the bill to the cutting table.

The problem today

Raw cloth runs the floor — but no one really knows where it is.

Lost rolls

Workers hunt through racks for the right cloth. Hours wasted, deliveries delayed.

Mix-ups at cutting

Wrong fabric reaches the cutting master. Rework, scrap, missed orders.

Defects vanish

Rejected cloth gets shoved aside. Vendor returns and debit notes slip past the window.

Zero traceability

From bill → roll → rack → cutting, nothing is recorded. Audits and planning are guesswork.

01
The solution

Seven steps. One unbroken trail.

Every bill, every roll, every cut — photographed, QR-tagged, dated, tracked.

1
Bill paid
Admin logs paid vendor bill — feeds receive queue
2
Receive
Worker captures bill, cloth photo, print ID, dates
3
Rack
Scan box QR, place cloth in rack
4
Select
Admin picks day's cloths from photo grid
5
Pickup
Worker scans QR, confirms picks
6
QC
Cutting master passes or rejects roll
7
Cut + count
Cut · log pieces · defects → vendor return
Every action is logged against the cloth. No more guesswork — full traceability, end to end.
02
Physical setup

05
Defect handling

Rejected cloth has a clear path back to the vendor.

1

Cutting master rejects

Reason logged: short width, dirty, patches, etc. Whole roll flagged.

2

Worker is notified

Pickup worker gets message: take this roll to defect zone.

3

Placed in defect rack

Worker scans QR in defect zone → location recorded.

4

Vendor return + debit note

Admin sees pending returns, generates debit note for vendor.

Nothing falls through the cracks. Every defect is tracked, located, and recoverable from the vendor.
06
What we'll build

Eight modules. One Android app.

Each module powers a distinct part of the operations workflow — together they form the spine of Garment-OS Phase 1.

01

User management

Add users + phone numbers · OTP login

02

Role management

Godown, cutting master, admin — defined roles

03

Workflow management

Single app · features unlock per role

04

QR + Rack management

Register QRs · attach to rack addresses

05

Purchase orders

POs drive print, pickup, cutting · product per print

06

Product management

Register products being manufactured

07

Vendor management

Vendor directory · cloth source of truth

08

Cloth management

Group by Print ID · stock vs in-production

07
App experience

Built for the factory floor.

Designed for hands that move fabric, not type on phones.
